Question.... Answer?

In life there will always be questions and there is no guarantee that there will be answers.  As people, it would be logical for us to try to live our lives without regrets and "what-ifs" as much as we can.  But, after a few years of idealistic effort, we come to accept the fact that there will always be regrets and "what-ifs" and that the only thing we can try to do is to make sure that they're not big enough or important enough to haunt us in our lifetime.

We make mistakes, we create bad decisions, we hurt and get hurt but the most important thing is that we learn from them.  Even if we repeat doing all the bad things that we do and it took a while before we eventually learn - we still learned... eventually.

I guess life is made of lessons learned from bad experiences and that happy times are mere consolation prices to our race for wisdom.  Notice how old people look like they don't look happy rather they look contented.  And when they look at you, they seemed to be saying: "I made all those horrible things in my entire life, but it brought me here and now to where I am, and that's all that matters."

I'm way too young to ever be contended, but I'm getting there.  I may have been able to answer some of the questions I had when i was younger,  but certainly not all.  I still have time and that's all that matters for now.  In fact, the most precious thing (if you can call it that) in this world is time.  No matter how rich you are - no matter how much gold, diamonds, and gems you own, you can never buy more time - when it passed you by, its gone.

I think what I'm trying to say here is that, time and answers go hand in hand together.  I may not have been able to know the secrets of the universe or claim to know the meaning of life - but one thing I'm sure of: in our journey, all we need is time and answers will reveal themselves eventually!
